The competency, professionalism and response time of French Connections HCB’s staff is exceptionally high. Sadly, due to a real estate situation on my end, I had to postpone my move abroad. It took ONE email to Richard to receive a full refund of thousands of dollars, fifteen minutes later, with his well wishes and hopes to work with me again after I get my estate challenges resolved. French Connections H-C-B assisted us in preparing our successful VLS application, clearing up several misconceptions we’d had about the process and also acting as in-country intermediary in helping us locate, evaluate and ultimately sign a lease contract for well-situated residential accommodations. The latter task in particular would have been very difficult (to say the least) for us to have accomplished from afar in the available time-frame without their assistance: special thanks in particular to Juliette for her help in doing so. Brilliant. From first contact with Richard who explained everything to us. Our Visa application was handled by Chloe, who is fantastic. She explained and has held our hand all the way. Anything we were not sure about she answered, emails and zoom calls all went really well. Also a big thank you to Bruno who sorted the medical insurance and Gerard who answered our tax questions. We heard about French Connections HCB in a Facebook group for expats living in France. We were thinking about moving to France but didn’t know where to start. We have worked with Richard and his administrative team now for over a year. The French bureaucracy is daunting, but we haven’t had to worry…the team helped us get here, get set up, and continue to monitor outstanding applications for our driver’s licenses, health care, etc. Now we are buying a house to renovate and are working with Richard’s design and construction team…we will be excited to see our dream home come to life over the next year. Juliette found me a great apartment in France with a lovely landlady and what could have been a difficult process has been very easy. Now that I’ve arrived in France, they’re still there supporting me and helping me with the important administrative work. I honestly couldn’t have got through the relocation process with out them.
