Insurance

Our insurance partner, Bruno, has been in the business 40 years and has helped thousands of English speakers from all over the world settle into a new life in France with the proper insurance protection, personalised to your needs and your budget.

Obligatory Health Cover for Visa

Private health insurance is obligatory when you apply for a French visa. It has to be valid for one year, and must cover routine care, hospitalisation (including specialist treatment) and repatriation. Your visa supplication will not be successful without it.

Mutuelle for Carte Vitale

90 days after your arrival in France you can start the process of registering for French healthcare. However, the wait for your carte Vitale is usually between 6-7 months. Once you have your carte Vitale and have opened your account on Amélie (the French health platform), you can take out a ‘mutuelle’ or top-up insurance that pays the difference between the cost of medical services covered by your carte Vitale, and others that are not (such as private hospital room, certain specialist treatments, dental prosthetics etc).

Pet Insurance

Domestic animal insurance follows naturally when you have brought your much-loved furry friends with you. Unexpected veterinary interventions can be expensive so pet insurance is a guarantee of always being able to offer them the best care when they need it. Our pet insurance policies
